We are completely ready to be parents and devote our lives to your child. In all of our decision making, from choosing a house to buy, to structuring our work lives, our primary motivation has been to create a happy, safe environment for a child to grow up in. We want to give a child great experiences, adventure, a loving extended family and friends, lots of space, and the ability to play, learn, and explore.
We have great neighbors. Lisa and Mac, who live right next door, have two young children, who are 3 and 1. We spend a lot of time with them, and we sometimes babysit. We make lots of Playdo creatures with the older daughter and we sing Baby Shark with the little boy.

We're Musical, Creative, Financially Secure & Ready to Adopt Our 1st Baby.
Hi! We are Sara and Tim,
It would be such a joy and a privilege to give your child a happy home. We are thrilled and excited to provide a safe, nurturing environment for your child to grow up in. We will give your child a home that is full of love and encouragement, where he or she can laugh, play, and discover their dreams and passions.
Though we tried but were unable to have a biological child, we always thought adoption would be a wonderful way to become parents. Our hearts are open, and we have never felt that biology makes a family. We are more than ready to give all of our love, support, and resources to your child.
Our neighborhood is beautiful, safe, very diverse and has lots of kids, good schools, libraries, and playgrounds. We are close to one of the largest and most amazing parks in New York City. It is a great place to play and go for walks and bike rides. The park has concerts, plays, and boat rides in the spring and summer and in the fall and winter there is ice skating and horseback riding.
We often travel to England to visit Tim’s parents Christine and Andrew, sister Bobby, brother-in-law John, and our nieces Isla and Erin who are 7 and 12. Tim’s Mom and Dad have been married for over 50 years.
We spend much of the holiday doing crafts and drawing. Sara loves to teach the girls how to draw and paint and make things. We love to watch Harry Potter movies with them and play “dog bingo” and Uno, and we make up songs with the guitar.
Being with a partner who is creative has always been important to me and Tim fulfills that expectation. He is a super talented songwriter and musician and has a beautiful singing voice. I really love his music and we have even written some songs together. He recently had music that he wrote featured in an off-Broadway show and I couldn’t be prouder.
Tim is great with kids and he loves to be around them. Our nieces adore him and as soon as our 12-year-old niece Erin got an iPhone Tim was one of the first people she wanted to text. He loves to play and never gets too tired to sing another song, read another book, or jump around and around.
We really have fun together. He makes me laugh and likes to be silly. I feel so lucky to have Tim as my husband and partner.
Sara is the most compassionate, caring, and supportive person I know. Her empathy and concern for those around her has always been an inspiration to me. She is the one close friends always reach out to when they need someone to listen or offer advice.
Her home was filled with art and color and creativity and friends. She had a tight-knit network of wonderful friends who supported each other and stayed connected. People would always be stopping by and Sara was always ready to entertain. Her door was always open.
I love Sara’s creativity. She’s multi-talented and has great taste. She loves fashion and design and enjoys keeping up with the latest trends. I love learning new things from her about art and fashion. In her work, she is constantly creating different designs and ideas for her various projects, and outside of work, she is always thinking about new personal projects or working on something in her studio. She draws and paints, makes crafts and beautiful ceramics.
On the upper floor we have space where Sara has a studio/office. She is an artist and works for herself doing lots of different things like designing stores, creating special events, and making art and props.
Among our friends with young children, a visit from “Auntie Sara” is always a very special occasion, and Sara is as excited to see the children as they are to see her. She’s patient, listening and asking questions, and she’s also playful, being silly, making faces, dancing and goofing around. Sara is a teacher, a carer, and a natural mother.
We met in 2012. Right away we really enjoyed spending time together, realized we even had some friends in common, and have similar family-oriented values and a desire to be parents. We both love children, going to hear live music, seeing art, hanging out with friends and spending time outside in nature.
About Tim, from Sara
When I first met Tim, I knew he was special. He has a calm, generous energy that I felt right away. Tim is responsible, loving, and present through good times and hard times.

We own our house in Brooklyn, New York. Tim has a successful career as an Editorial Director for an advertising agency and is also a musician. Sara is a designer and artist and works for herself, so she has complete flexibility to be an at-home mom. We both have college degrees, Tim in Business and Sara in Art and we will encourage and support your child’s education.
Tim already makes dad jokes so he will not have to practice doing that! I can’t wait to see him become a father.
Sara is always thinking about her parents Paul and Arleen, who live just a short car ride away. She speaks to them multiple times a week, and we visit them often on weekends to catch up and help with odd jobs around the house.
We're completely open and honored to adopt a baby of any race because we feel that skin color does not make a family.
Sara is an amazing cook. She has great intuition in the kitchen, and she can throw together an incredible meal without a cookbook. She is always trying out new ingredients and recipe ideas. We always try to eat healthy. We eat breakfast together most mornings, which is a great way to start the day.
Our house has a basement which we are soundproofing so Tim can have a place to play music. Tim is a musician, and plays guitar, bass, drums, and sings.
We go to England almost every Christmas so we can all celebrate together. We all stay in the same house for a few nights and make special meals for Christmas eve and Christmas day. We also have the tradition of going ice skating, which Sara especially loves because when she was little, she used to take part in ice skating competitions.
A lot of the kids in our neighborhood like to come with us when we take our dog, Charlie, out for walks. They follow us and take turns holding the leash. Charlie is the sweetest and silliest dog. She is great with kids and is always excited to see people. She even gets excited to see us when we just go out for a second and come right back in the house.
We were married in a small, sweet, intimate ceremony with close friends and family there to help us celebrate our special day.
We found a beautiful home in a great neighborhood in Brooklyn. It’s on a quiet block with lots of kids, and there is a back yard.
Sara’s eye for color and detail is impeccable, and thanks to her talent for interior design, our new home feels bright and warm and is decorated with art, stylish furniture, and pretty houseplants. We love to invite friends to our home to have dinner and play games.

About Sara, from Tim
Sara is amazing. When we first met, I was won over by her warmth, her positive vibrant energy, her sense of fun, and her radiant smile. We hit it off right away.
We also always go to see a funny Christmas theater show. Every year the show is based on a different fairytale like Aladdin or Jack and the Beanstalk. It’s mostly for the kids, but Uncle Tim and Granddad love it almost as much and sing along to all the songs.
We both love to travel and we plan to bring your child on wonderful trips to fun and interesting places. Our first big trip together was to Costa Rica with a group of friends. It was so much fun. We learned to surf (well Tim did, Sara ended up with a lot of sand in her bathing suit). We collected shells on the beach, and we went on hikes in the rainforest where we saw monkeys, colorful birds, and Sara’s favorite, three-toed sloths! Since then we have also traveled to Berlin, Saint Croix, Iceland, and all over the United States.
Sara was born to be a mother. She has a huge heart. She loves kids and kids respond to her right away. Our next-door neighbor tells us that her three-year-old often says “Where’s Sara?” because she misses talking and playing with her.
We are so grateful to you for taking the time to get to know us. We would love to talk to you.
Please call anytime 1-800-933-1975.
We have a really nice adoption attorney, who is an adoptive dad, should you have any questions.
Tim has lots of friends who know they can count on him when they need support. Tim is always there to talk with about problems or ideas. He is my best friend.
Our families and our many friends are excited to welcome a child that we would be so lucky to have come into our lives. This child will be Sara’s parents’ first grandchild. Sara’s parents are retired and live nearby in New Jersey.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us, we would love to get to know you!
